Training your Pets
The book Whales with Fur focuses on building your own training
relationship with your pets at home. You are the best trainer for your
dog, cat, horse or pot-bellied pig! Knowing the basics, being consistent
and understanding timing are keys to good training.
But sometimes folks would like some help.
Pete Davey, author of Whales with Fur, and long-time trainer of
everything from whales to tigers, can help you with your furry
(or feathered, or scaly) companions.
Pete will work with you in your home to identify your concerns and/or
goals and to develop a plan to work with your pet.
This approach is intended to leave you with the skills to be your pet's
best friend and skilled trainer, rather than having to continue hiring
consultants or going to classes.
Again, building a relationship with your pet is the most important step.
Pete,or anyone else, can't have that same relationship. Knowing basic
training methods, and understanding how to use them can make that
relationship work for both of you!
The program is designed to last 3 sessions, with an initial session of about 90 minutes, and two follow up sessions of an hour each over 4 weeks, leaving you with the mindset and basics to have the best relationship working with your pet.
The program cost is $295.00 locally (10 mile range from Hershey, PA), or 350.00 regionally (25 mile range from Hershey)
